Responsibilities
- Define the long-term architecture for the Associate Context & Insights platform.
- Own system design, implementation, testing, and deployment end to end.
- Establish engineering excellence standards and deliver the minimum viable product incrementally.
- Influence senior leadership on investments that improve associate capability, customer outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Engineering, Applied Science, and Business Intelligence to continuously improve the product.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language, including a modern language such as Java, C++, or C# with object-oriented design.
- Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience covering coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: Knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
