Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, TypeScript agentic workflows, and Java APIs using Spring Boot.
- Implement microservices with Spring Cloud for service discovery, configuration, and resilience.
- Containerize and deploy applications on AWS using ECS, EKS, Lambda, and EC2.
- Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
- Apply reactive programming and 12-factor application principles for high-performance cloud-native systems.
- Lead adoption of authorized AI-assisted engineering practices, including AI-assisted code review, refactoring, testing, and incident analysis.
- Establish standards for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, security, and compliance, and coach engineers on responsible AI use.
- Apply software development lifecycle automation and engineering tools to improve delivery outcomes.
- Design and execute performance and load tests using JMeter or Blazemeter.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in multi-agent environments.
Requirements
- At least five years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Backend experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Frontend experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience implementing microservices, reactive programming, AWS infrastructure as code, Lambda, S3, and Kafka.
- Experience with approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience applying 12-factor application principles and cloud-native development practices.
- Experience designing and executing performance and load tests with JMeter or Blazemeter.
- Experience with Jules, Spinnaker, Splunk, Dynatrace, Cassandra, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and ElastiCache.
- Preferred experience with Agent2UI, the A2A protocol, multi-agent troubleshooting, and LLMs.
