Responsibilities
- Define target architectures and domain boundaries for core banking and adjacent domains.
- Lead strategic modernization optioning, roadmaps, and credible delivery pathways.
- Define API and event contracts, data responsibilities, and non-functional controls.
- Govern design quality, architectural risks, decisions, resilience, security, observability, and release governance.
- Embed secure AI-ready patterns, test harnesses, and guardrails for non-deterministic components.
- Shape scalable, resilient, end-to-end solutions aligned with architectural standards.
- Translate business outcomes into design options and actionable technology plans.
- Provide architecture guidance and documentation for delivery and operations.
- Support business development through proposals, solution credibility, and mobilization of wins.
- Develop people and communities of practice while coaching junior colleagues and creating reusable patterns, assets, and playbooks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in solution or domain architecture with significant core-modernization experience.
- Mastery of domain-driven design, API and event integration, and modern platform patterns involving cloud, containers, and microservices.
- Experience leading stakeholders at CIO, Chief Architect, and COO levels and producing clear architecture artifacts.
- Fluency in resilience, security, observability, and release governance for regulated environments.
- Experience across multiple core-banking vendors and integrations with channels, general ledger, risk, and data platforms is preferred.
- Experience establishing architecture review boards and guardrails for multi-vendor squads is preferred.
