Base Salary
$147k - $268k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and architect large-scale AWS cloud platforms supporting global Design Engineering, Software Engineering, and R&D organizations.
- Advance platform engineering, automation, container orchestration, CI/CD, and developer enablement services for an engineering community exceeding 5,000 users.
- Create scalable reference architectures by translating business and engineering requirements into secure, highly available, automated solutions.
- Partner with Design Engineering, Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, SRE, and Operations teams.
- Support cloud-native infrastructure, software development, EDA workloads, and engineering collaboration platforms.
- Perform activities safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
- Travel up to 10%.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise IT experience.
- At least 5 years designing large-scale AWS cloud solutions.
- Experience supporting organizations with more than 5,000 users and enabling global software engineering teams.
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes and container platforms.
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code and automation experience, including experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience designing platforms rather than simply administering them.
- Experience operating in highly regulated and security-conscious environments.
- Required education and experience: BS, MS, or PhD plus 12 years of experience, or other equitable years of experience.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
- Preferred experience includes semiconductor industry, Design Engineering organizations, EDA, HPC, software product development, cloud engineering platforms, large-scale R&D environments, and global manufacturing organizations.
- Preferred skills include project management, innovation and execution, navigating ambiguity, written and verbal communication, and planning and organization.
Benefits
- Expected salary range is $147,000.00-$268,000.00.
- Work location is Dallas, TX or Santa Clara, CA.
- Position involves up to 10% travel.
