Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and guarantee software quality and persistence.
- Create and execute test cases for bug fixes and software improvements.
- Design automated test scenarios, test plans, and automated test solutions.
- Analyze automated test results and failures and maintain existing automation.
- Report defects and collaborate with Development until issues are resolved.
- Create and maintain test environments and test data.
- Document test cases in Jira and test management tools and maintain the test library.
- Work with Product Management and Engineering to incorporate client-requested improvements and manage releases.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in capital markets, preferably Calypso Clearing management.
- Experience in financial services, including Front Office or Back Office environments.
- Solid understanding of at least one asset class such as equities, fixed income, commodities, foreign exchange, or derivatives.
- Ability to read BRD documents, develop test cases, and perform data setup and configuration.
- Experience with test planning, development, execution, regression, system testing, SIT, and test-suite maintenance.
- Engineering graduate or full-time MBA in finance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, autonomous working, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Experience with UFT or Cypress is preferred.
- Experience with SQL scripts, object-oriented programming, and Java is advantageous.
