Responsibilities
- Build and optimize cross-platform mobile features using React Native and TypeScript.
- Design and implement serverless APIs with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS.
- Write infrastructure as code with AWS CDK or SAM and deploy the systems built.
- Scope and estimate mid-to-complex features with technical precision.
- Review code, establish testing standards, and mentor junior engineers.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, observability, on-call reliability, and ongoing service maintenance.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot for multi-file and architectural work.
Requirements
- Requires 2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including production mobile or full-stack work.
- Requires strong TypeScript and React Native skills, including native bridge debugging, rendering optimization, and polished user experience delivery.
- Requires Node.js and REST or GraphQL API design skills; serverless architecture experience is preferred.
- Requires production AWS experience with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
- Requires experience owning features through scoping, development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Requires comfort using agentic coding tools and working in a small team that is creating structure.
- Requires a bachelor's degree.
- Marketplace, fintech, data-intensive consumer products, real-time pricing, WebSockets, and event-driven architecture experience are preferred.
