Base Salary
$69k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, document, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable software applications.
- Collaborate with radar, electro-optical, and research scientist experts to improve product image quality.
- Learn synthetic aperture radar and electro-optical collection techniques.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements, design, implementation, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Resolve technical issues and complete software development tasks independently within a team environment.
Requirements
- US citizenship and willingness and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance are required.
- A degree or progress toward a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field is required; four years of professional software or signals processing experience or qualifying military experience may substitute.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience is required.
- Familiarity with Python, C++, Rust, or a similar programming language is required.
- Familiarity developing in Linux and/or a cloud environment is required, with AWS preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, teamwork, and independent task-completion abilities are required.
- Preferred qualifications include multiple programming languages, radar or electro-optical experience, digital signal processing, algorithm implementation, Scrum/Agile knowledge, and Jira experience.
