Base Salary
$69k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications.
- Collaborate with radar, electro-optical, and research scientist experts to resolve issues and improve product image quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, well-tested code according to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in planning, requirements development, software design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Learn synthetic aperture radar and electro-optical collection techniques and contribute to future leadership in the field.
Requirements
- US citizenship and willingness and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance are required.
- At least two years of software engineering experience is required.
- A degree or progress toward a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field; four years of professional software or signals-processing experience may substitute for the degree, as may qualifying military experience in electronic warfare or signals processing.
- Familiarity with Python, C++, Rust, or a similar programming language.
- Familiarity developing in Linux and/or a cloud environment, with AWS preferred.
- Interest in learning remote sensing technologies and ability to work onsite.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and independent task-completion skills.
- Preferred qualifications include multiple programming languages, radar or electro-optical knowledge, digital signal processing experience, algorithm-implementation experience, and Jira and Scrum/Agile knowledge.
