Base Salary
$69k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications.
- Collaborate with radar, electro-optical, and research scientist experts to resolve issues and improve product image quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.
- Participate in planning, requirements development, design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Learn synthetic aperture radar and electro-optical collection techniques.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and complete software development tasks independently within a team environment.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance is required.
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience is required.
- A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field is required, with four years of professional software or signals-processing experience or qualifying military experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Familiarity with Python, C++, Rust, or a similar programming language is required.
- Familiarity with Linux development and/or cloud environments, preferably AWS, is required.
- Interest in remote-sensing technologies and strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
- Experience with multiple programming languages, radar or electro-optical fields, digital signal processing, Jira, Scrum/Agile development, or software implementing algorithms is desired.
