Responsibilities
- Design, create, and document software development and infrastructure processes, design specifications, and test plans.
- Implement and manage automated testing frameworks and scripts.
- Lead unit and end-to-end testing to ensure reliable, high-quality software products.
- Perform and support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on automation testing, test case development, and testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to align testing strategies, resolve issues, and improve testing efficiency.
- Document and communicate testing procedures and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in software testing, focused on test automation.
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Experience creating test plans for complex applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with GitLab repositories and pipelines.
- Ability to communicate effectively across government, prime contractor, support contractor, and agency personnel.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required upon hire, with the ability to maintain it during employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
- Approximately 10% travel may be required.
- Preferred experience includes participation in agile teams, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
