Responsibilities
- Translate complex customer problems and requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Design and plan complex scopes of work from product requirements and UI/UX designs.
- Develop, test, and ship critical user-facing features.
- Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable APIs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to high-quality software delivery.
- Improve user experience with a focus on clarity and speed.
- Contribute to technology direction and engineering best practices.
- Mentor, support, and serve as an information source for junior developers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional, hands-on development experience.
- Experience building SaaS products and working with large-scale distributed systems.
- A consistent track record of building and maintaining highly scalable products.
- Proficiency with Java and/or C#.
- Experience with version control, release management, and CI/CD workflows.
- Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with front-end build, package-management, and testing tools such as Webpack, NPM, Jest, and Cypress.
- Experience writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, and querying frameworks/APIs.
- Experience with Git workflows, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Willingness to collaborate respectfully, pursue continuous improvement, and identify opportunities to improve products and processes.
