Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Appium.
- Develop BDD-style test cases and maintain clear, readable test documentation.
- Create, maintain, and execute automated UI, API, regression, and mobile test suites.
- Participate in test planning, requirements analysis, and sprint grooming.
- Identify and prioritize test cases suitable for automation.
- Maintain high test coverage and reliable testing pipelines for CI/CD environments.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify defects early and promote shift-left testing and continuous quality practices.
- Analyze test failures, log defects, and verify fixes in staging and pre-production environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in test automation or software quality engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Java and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD.
- Expertise in mobile automation using Appium for Android and iOS.
- Experience with TestNG, Maven or Gradle, and automation utilities.
- Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Confluence, and API testing using Postman.
