
Machine Learning Engineer: Imitation and Reinforcement Learning for Robotics

Responsibilities
- Design, train, validate, and launch behavior-cloning and reinforcement-learning models.
- Build and maintain data ingestion, labeling, and management pipelines for high-quality training datasets.
- Develop metrics to evaluate model performance in open-loop, simulation, and real-world environments.
- Collaborate with simulation, systems, and infrastructure teams to integrate machine learning models into autonomous systems.
- Deploy and debug models in real-world environments while addressing latency, hardware constraints, and system-integration issues.
Requirements
- At least three years of practical machine learning experience using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- At least three years of professional experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in production environments.
- Familiarity with recent literature and methods for learned behavior policies.
- Practical experience with behavior cloning and/or reinforcement learning.
- Experience with diffusion policies, Vision-Language-Action models, or related technologies is a bonus.
- Published work at conferences such as ICRA, IROS, CoRL, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICML, or NeurIPS is a bonus.
