Responsibilities
- Deploy production AI use cases with significant business impact across multiple industries.
- Build GenAI applications, including complex LLM fine-tuning, advanced RAG, and agentic use cases.
- Implement AI products using APIs, back-end interfaces, and front-end interfaces.
- Contribute to open-source codebases for inference and fine-tuning.
- Participate in pre-sales calls, understand customer needs, and explain Mistral technologies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with researchers, product engineers, and product and science teams to improve product and model capabilities based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- Fluent English communication.
- At least 2 years of experience as a technical individual contributor, such as a data scientist or software engineer, on AI-based products.
- Proven experience implementing AI or machine-learning products with APIs, back-end interfaces, and front-end interfaces.
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs and addressing advanced RAG or agentic use cases.
- Deep understanding of machine-learning and LLM concepts and algorithms.
- Strong coding skills in Python.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: contributions to open-source projects, particularly in LLMs.
- Preferred: experience as a Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Product Manager.
- Preferred: deep-learning experience with PyTorch.
