Responsibilities
- Work closely with art and design on a variety of gameplay features.
- Prototype and iterate, accepting and responding to critical feedback.
- Collaborate with other programmers on technical approaches.
- Optimize and fix bugs in existing gameplay systems.
- Write robust, maintainable code.
Requirements
- Experience developing games professionally and shipping AAA titles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mind.
- Proficient in C++ and capable of coding gameplay mechanics and tools.
- Ability to articulate strengths and weaknesses in game design.
- Experience or desire to work in a live game environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Creativity in problem-solving and thinking outside established solutions.
- Experience writing multiplayer gameplay systems is a plus.
- Keen interest in games.
