Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Improve automation frameworks and build reusable libraries and automated testing tools.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, acceptance criteria, and automation backlogs.
- Track and report coverage metrics, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, and deployment risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve continuous deployment practices and resolve technical issues.
- Work with business subject matter experts, testers, support personnel, users, developers, and clients to understand requirements and resolve problems.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, project details, and performance reviews according to company standards.
- Perform backend and database programming for key projects and stay current with industry standards.
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in test automation.
- Experience designing and implementing automated testing tools and software validation processes.
- Ability to develop technical specifications, test plans, test cases, and automation solutions.
- Ability to support functional and non-functional testing, defect tracking, and coverage reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with Agile delivery teams and business, development, testing, and client stakeholders.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming and develop efficient, maintainable code.
- Ability to document code and projects and apply accepted design patterns and organizational standards.
