Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and develop features and services for arrivia’s travel platform as a technical leader on a full-stack product team.
  • Set organization-wide standards for AI coding agents, prompt libraries, workflows, and agentic development practices.
  • Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Modernize aging services through refactoring, migration, and cloud-native distributed design.
  • Define agentic workflows for testing, documentation, code-review triage, and deployment checks.
  • Architect Model Context Protocol integrations connecting AI agents with internal tools, data, and platform services.
  • Lead improvements to development and operations across a distributed cloud architecture.
  • Help safeguard members’ sensitive data in partnership with Risk and Security teams.
  • Establish and meet system SLOs while improving delivery velocity and isolating impact.
  • Mentor engineers across teams on AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, and agentic workflow design.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of full-stack development and architectural experience building web applications and services.
  • Expert professional experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Strong proficiency in at least two of TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET.
  • Deep experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience architecting and delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Extensive experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Deep understanding of the Model Context Protocol and experience architecting MCP server ecosystems.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated technical-design leadership, cross-team mentoring, and ability to raise engineering maturity.
  • A formal computer science degree is a plus but is not required.
