Base Salary
$180k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship internal AI automations, agents, and an MCP routing gateway connected to company data sources.
- Implement authentication, department-level access controls, request logging, connector configuration, and security review workflows.
- Manage Claude and other AI-tool access, provisioning, connector approvals, usage, and spend visibility.
- Define adoption, cost, delivery, quality, and ROI metrics; build supporting data pipelines and publish recurring executive reports.
- Run the AI champions program, maintain the AI wiki and shared skills library, and manage skill intake, review, ownership, and offboarding.
- Train department teams, establish AI usage standards, and transfer production tools to the teams that use them.
Requirements
- Production software development experience within the last two years using Python or TypeScript, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Experience building and operating a real LLM-based product with users, error handling, and controlled costs.
- Experience working directly with non-technical teams as a technical builder, such as in forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, GTM engineering, or internal tools engineering.
- Ability to derive and defend metrics from messy data for executive and finance stakeholders.
- Experience running a cross-functional program without direct authority, such as a champion, ambassador, or adoption initiative.
- Strong written communication and judgment to prioritize work based on expected value.
- Preferred experience includes accounting, professional services, or B2B software; MCP server development, Claude API, agent frameworks, and Okta or similar identity providers.
