Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy generative AI applications using RAG, agents, and multi-agent systems.
- Collaborate with AI/ML and software engineers to deliver reliable, scalable systems.
- Own key features and components, including their structure, efficiency, maintainability, and reliability.
- Make technical and system-design decisions addressing performance, cost, and reliability.
- Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate business needs into solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, review code, and provide constructive peer feedback.
- Evaluate deployment options and trade-offs across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Optimize accuracy, performance, and cost for generative AI applications.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including Python, testing, version control, and clean-code practices.
- Ability to design and implement AI-powered components and workflows using sound software-design principles.
- Experience with at least one generative AI framework, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
- Experience with at least one agentic framework, such as PydanticAI, LangGraph, or AutoGen2.
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing RAG pipelines with vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
- Familiarity with deploying AI solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, and basic use of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Production experience with LLMOps and observability tools such as Langfuse, PromptLayer, or OpenTelemetry.
- Exposure to fine-tuning and ML/NLP frameworks such as PyTorch or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Ability to independently solve complex, ambiguous technical problems and mentor junior engineers.
- Strong collaboration skills and resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
