Responsibilities
- Lead large database migration projects with minimal service interruptions.
- Design and execute deployment strategies for data migrations and archiving.
- Utilize AI-based automation to enhance the data platform.
- Collaborate on creating a shared data warehouse with reliable access models.
- Guide engineers in implementing suitable database solutions.
- Promote strong documentation practices and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in incident management and support rotations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL in large-scale production environments.
- 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical topics.
- Experience working in a decentralized team environment.
