Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy reliable and scalable systems in collaboration with development teams.
- Implement and manage continuous integration, automated testing, and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize reliability and performance.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to support high application availability.
- Automate manual processes using scripting and automation frameworks.
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Docker, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement remediation and prevention measures.
- Collaborate with developers, operations, and QA teams to promote DevOps practices and smooth software delivery.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents outside regular business hours.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and practices to improve DevOps and SRE capabilities.
- Configure and maintain Site24x7 monitoring for infrastructure and applications, including alert policies, thresholds, and escalation workflows.
- Monitor availability and performance, troubleshoot alerts, and optimize monitoring to reduce false positives.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in similar roles.
- Strong experience with Site24x7 monitoring and alerting.
- Experience configuring and maintaining Site24x7 monitoring for infrastructure and applications.
- Experience creating and managing alerting policies, thresholds, and escalation workflows.
- Experience monitoring system availability and performance, troubleshooting alerts, and reducing false positives.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Docker, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Ability to participate in production incident response and on-call rotations.
