Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable fullstack features.
- Contribute primarily to backend development while actively building React-based frontend interfaces.
- Evolve the existing architecture and propose improvements to platform performance, security, and quality.
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, Mobile, and Backend teams to ensure coherent component integration.
- Mentor and technically support junior developers by sharing development practices and quality standards.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Monitor technology developments and improve tools, practices, and architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of fullstack software development experience with a strong backend focus.
- Strong backend skills in TypeScript and Node.js, including designing robust APIs, services, and business logic.
- Good knowledge of React and modern frontend ecosystems, including state management, performance, and UX/UI practices.
- Knowledge of design patterns, testing, documentation, and code quality practices.
- Comfort working with cloud environments and services used to develop and deploy applications.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous patterns such as SQS and EventBridge is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Product and other technical teams.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment, ideally fintech, is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools.
