Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software supporting provisioning, licensing, and purchasing capabilities.
- Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend services.
- Contribute to technical designs and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver features.
- Write tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Mentor and coach engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to automation, infrastructure improvements, cloud-native engineering, and developer-platform practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience developing production-grade applications.
- Experience with agent-driven development and code review.
- Strong experience building backend applications with Java.
- Experience with Golang and Python.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Maven.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices.
- Strong understanding of software design, testing, debugging, and distributed systems.
- Collaborative communication skills and a passion for mentoring engineers.
- Willingness to remain highly technical and hands-on while providing technical leadership.
