Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, executes, debugs, and maintains software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms integrated with related systems.
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures software meets design constraints.
- Analyzes large and diverse datasets and develops visualizations and reporting to improve applications and systems.
- Identifies data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding practices and system architecture.
- Participates in software engineering communities of practice and events exploring emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, security, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in a discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
