Base Salary
$100k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end execution for backend systems and infrastructure.
- Implement and validate payment and data pipelines from parsing to production readiness.
- Manage secure connectivity with banks and partners through host-to-host connections.
- Lead integration projects across banking and enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain customer-facing integrations with third-party platforms.
- Debug and resolve connectivity and payment issues.
- Automate onboarding and integration processes to increase reliability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building backend systems in high-growth environments.
- Deep expertise in Python and modern backend frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong database fundamentals, including PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Experience building production-grade APIs.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with payment rails and messaging formats is a plus.
- Clear communication skills in English, able to collaborate across time zones.
