Base Salary

$113k - $168k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on new feature development, sustaining efforts, and engineering escalations.
  • Participate in product definition, design, implementation, debugging, testing, and early customer support.
  • Develop, test, and debug distributed software for cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premises solutions.
  • Collaborate with QA, Systemic Test Engineering, dependent engineering teams, and peer teams to understand customer use cases and deliver solutions.
  • Solve technical issues collaboratively with other engineers.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with C and C++ is required.
  • Familiarity with system software design and development is required.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux system programming and multithreaded programming is required.
  • Strong understanding of operating-system internals, algorithms, data structures, and multithreaded programming is required.
  • Experience in the storage domain is preferred.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality and collaborate with internal and external audiences is required.
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience, a master's degree with no experience, or equivalent work experience.
