Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build distributed software services and network-management products for Amazon EKS.
- Contribute to open-source projects including AWS VPC CNI, eBPF-based network policy, and the AWS Load Balancer Controller.
- Develop next-generation eBPF-based network observability and telemetry.
- Design and operate software capable of deploying changes across thousands of nodes without human supervision.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities including coding, reviews, source control, testing, and operations.
- Mentor junior engineers on the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
