Base Salary
$126k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship Access Analyzer features on the Now Platform from design through release.
- Develop and maintain server-side Glide/JavaScript, UI components, and REST APIs.
- Work with ACLs, roles, and access evaluation to deliver accurate and performant access insights.
- Own features end to end, including implementation, testing, documentation, and production support.
- Contribute unit and automated tests, code reviews, defect triage, and release readiness.
- Collaborate with Product, QE, Release Management, and Platform Security teams.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining code quality.
- Mentor peers through design discussions and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or Java, with knowledge of object-oriented design and data structures.
- Hands-on relational database experience, including SQL queries, joins, indexing, and MySQL.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and developing server-side application logic.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions.
- Demonstrated ownership of work from ambiguity through delivery.
- Preferred: ServiceNow platform experience, including Glide, scoped apps, ACLs, Flow Designer, or UI frameworks.
- Preferred: security, identity and access management, authorization systems, policy engines, RBAC/ABAC, large-scale data processing, query performance tuning, LLM/AI-agent development, AI coding tools, or regulated environments.
