Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects addressing business and regulatory needs.
- Partner with software developers to create distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Use JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Mentor and coach engineering team members, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and participate in technology communities.
- Write or evaluate code as needed and experiment with emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Advanced English fluency.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of cloud computing experience with AWS.
- 8+ years of experience with at least one of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience with AI tools such as Claude and Windsurf.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach an engineering team and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Preferred: master’s degree, experience designing and supporting complex AI systems, Spec Driven Design experience, 4+ years with open-source frameworks, and 2+ years with Agile practices.
