Responsibilities
- Own complex problems spanning multiple services and facilitate cross-functional resolution.
- Define, design, and develop service-level procedures and solutions for business requirements and enhancements.
- Drive prioritization, trade-offs, technical roadmaps, and technology adoption with product partners.
- Automate and simplify software delivery and development practices.
- Drive integration across connected services and promote engineering principles across organizations.
- Lead blameless postmortems, identify incident root causes, and implement improvements.
- Provide hands-on development, architecture guidance, mentoring, and technical leadership to engineers.
- Lead technical initiatives and delivery across requirements gathering, development, deployment, and production support.
- Build partnerships across Product Management, Business Operations, Technology Operations, Customer Experience, and Engineering.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering scalable, resilient, and high-performing enterprise software solutions.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting full-stack applications in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Advanced experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PostgreSQL, and test automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, architectural patterns, distributed systems, API design, and microservices architectures.
- Experience with Agile environments, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including ISO 20022 Account-to-Account payment standards and transaction processing workflows.
- Experience designing solutions for performance, scalability, availability, reliability, maintainability, and supportability.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, drive execution independently, and make complex technical decisions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, leadership, ownership, and accountability skills.
