Responsibilities

  • Own and execute manual and automated testing across the complete software development lifecycle.
  • Design, execute, analyze, and maintain API and performance tests using JMeter, including workload modeling and performance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain reusable Playwright UI automation with TypeScript for functional and regression testing.
  • Create test plans, scenarios, cases, test data, and automated regression suites.
  • Perform SQL-based database validation and verify data integrity across application and backend systems.
  • Troubleshoot defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams through resolution.
  • Review technical designs and provide QA input on testability, reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Identify release risks, quality concerns, bottlenecks, capacity limitations, and production-impacting issues.
  • Support QA/UAT environments, build and deployment processes, release testing, and quality status reporting.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, bug scrubs, release readiness discussions, and continuous improvement of QA practices.
  • Review QA deliverables and provide technical guidance to other QA team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional QA/Test Engineering experience with strong manual and automation testing experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with API and performance testing using JMeter.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing Playwright automation with TypeScript and maintaining reusable automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, request and response validation, status codes, authentication, and JSON/XML payloads.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database validation, including queries for application and backend data.
  • Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum software development environments and with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, preferably using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include SoapUI or similar API testing tools, CI/CD pipeline integration, XML, Web Services, distributed teams, new product development, and healthcare domain experience.
