Responsibilities
- Provide technical thought leadership that informs architecture and product decisions.
- Own systems and capabilities end to end with accountability for their quality.
- Identify architectural problems and drive resolution with proposals and alignment.
- Design reusable platform primitives and frameworks to accelerate team productivity.
- Deliver across the full stack, making sound architectural decisions at every layer.
- Lead technical initiatives across teams, building alignment without direct authority.
- Set engineering standards in API design, data modeling, and code quality.
- Proactively identify technical risks and propose mitigations.
- Develop the technical capability of engineers through mentorship and knowledge transfer.
- Communicate complex technical decisions clearly to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12 or more years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ability to own systems or capabilities with cross-team impact.
- Recognized as a technical authority who sets patterns and drives standards.
- Track record of leading technical initiatives across organizational boundaries.
- Strong engineering instincts for tradeoffs in software development.
- Experience in identifying systemic problems and proposing architectural solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
