Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and lead database modernization efforts for efficiency and reliability.
- Design and implement scalable data solutions and robust APIs.
- Lead technical execution of large, cross-team initiatives.
- Break down initiative-level work across multiple epics.
- Proactively tackle database performance and enhance data retrieval processes.
- Serve as a technical consultant for complex architectural decisions.
- Advocate for comprehensive monitoring systems and software quality standards.
- Address tech debt proactively to ensure system agility.
- Write documentation and establish effective testing and monitoring.
- Coach and mentor engineers, creating professional development opportunities.
- Model effective feedback in code reviews.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of relevant professional experience with technical leadership.
- Significant experience in developing and maintaining large server-side web applications.
- Broad understanding of technical stacks and dependencies.
- Deep understanding of performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- Experience designing and integrating with third-party APIs.
- Experience in defensive testing and debugging complex issues.
- Track record of effective collaboration with engineers.
- Eagerness to explore and refactor legacy code.
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience coaching engineers and fostering a culture of feedback.
- Ability to provide support during urgent situations.
