Responsibilities
- Design and improve the cloud structure of the data platform for multi-client use.
- Build fault-tolerant systems that recover automatically and remain operational during production failures.
- Create APIs, templates, and shared tools that help internal developers work faster and with fewer errors.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes usage to control operating costs.
- Plan incremental modernization of outdated or legacy systems.
- Review designs, define technical standards, and provide technical guidance to development teams and executives.
- Incorporate security and customer-data protection into the platform architecture.
- Define platform performance monitoring so production failures can be diagnosed quickly.
- Prototype and evaluate new technologies before broader adoption.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or Principal Engineer working with cloud SaaS products and high-volume data systems.
- Real-world experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong proactive problem-solving skills focused on system failures, cost optimization, and developer productivity.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for explaining complex technical issues to developers and executives.
