Base Salary
$130k - $156k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive QA strategy for web and mobile applications and APIs.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Build and maintain automated test suites to increase test coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify edge cases and clarify specifications.
- Perform regression testing before each release to ensure functionality.
- Document bugs clearly and track issues through resolution.
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to foster a quality-first culture.
- Test real-time features for reliability under production conditions.
- Monitor production issues and assist with root cause analysis.
- Conduct security and compliance testing to validate HIPAA requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software QA experience with web, mobile, and APIs.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience building QA practices in an early-stage startup environment.
- Proven ability to write detailed test cases and reproduce complex bugs.
- Proficiency with issue tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with teams.
