Senior Data Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Build data architecture, catalogs, pipelines, and customer identity graphs for AI consumption and human-facing applications.
- Ingest and transform structured, unstructured, and real-time data from internal databases and third-party APIs.
- Establish technical standards for data quality, latency, reliability, and index freshness.
- Partner with engineering leaders, product managers, decision scientists, and data scientists to deliver scalable production solutions.
- Build secure, optimized, production-grade software and evaluate human- and AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
- Automate data delivery and integration with the AI orchestration layer.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and resolve production data issues in real time.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a closely related technical role.
- Proficiency in data modeling, data graphs, and robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Airflow and dbt.
- Practical experience designing, querying, and managing graph databases such as Neo4j or AWS Neptune.
- Strong command of Python, SQL, and Spark.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production-level data issues.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred: hands-on Salesforce platform experience, particularly Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Preferred: experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor in daily development workflows.
