Responsibilities
- Develop Java backend platform and service-layer solutions for digital commerce or enterprise operations platforms.
- Design reusable platform services, APIs, system integrations, and data models for distributed systems.
- Build and support event-driven architectures, API orchestration, and cloud-based services on AWS.
- Lead engineering teams or act as a Technical Lead while driving alignment across dependent platform services.
- Work in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments and contribute to platform governance and security practices.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of Java backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with AWS cloud services including EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
- Experience designing reusable platform services and APIs, system integration patterns, and data modeling for distributed systems.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams or acting as a Technical Lead.
- Preferred experience with domain-driven design, bounded contexts, enterprise digital platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, API gateways, service mesh, platform governance models, and security and compliance frameworks.
