Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services for discovering, onboarding, scanning, and analyzing Kubernetes environments.
Create data models representing Kubernetes resources, misconfigurations, exposure risks, and compliance violations.
Integrate detection engines for container vulnerabilities, secrets, RBAC risks, misconfigurations, and compliance frameworks.
Partner with security researchers and product managers to develop features from complex requirements and threat research.
Write clean, well-tested Python or Go code with maintainable abstractions and APIs.
Lead design discussions and code reviews while mentoring teammates.
Own features end-to-end from technical specification and design through implementation, testing, and release.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong background building microservices, cloud-native services, and distributed systems for large-scale workloads.
Hands-on experience with Python or Go.
Deep understanding of software design principles, concurrency models, data structures, and algorithms.
Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, and container runtimes.
Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
Preferred experience with Kubernetes internals, API primitives, custom controllers/operators, and managed services such as EKS, GKE, and AKS.
Preferred experience with cloud security, KSPM, CSPM, or vulnerability management.
