Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-scale solution architectures across business applications, cloud, data, AI, integration, security, digital platforms, infrastructure and managed services.
- Translate client strategies and requirements into solution blueprints, target-state architectures and sequenced transformation roadmaps.
- Lead discovery, qualification, solution development, proposals, client presentations, solution reviews and contract handover.
- Own scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, service levels, delivery locations, staffing, estimates and cost models.
- Advise CIOs, CTOs, business executives and programme sponsors and facilitate executive workshops.
- Mentor Solution Architects, develop architecture talent, and drive architecture standards, methods and governance.
- Govern architecture integrity from pursuit through mobilisation, implementation, transition and operations.
- Define Responsible AI controls and guide integration with enterprise systems, data sources and APIs.
Requirements
- Typically 12 or more years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, consulting, engineering or technology leadership.
- Demonstrated success shaping and leading large, complex transformation programs from opportunity through delivery.
- Proven experience in strategic pursuits, proposals, commercial solutioning and executive presentations.
- Experience advising C-suite and senior stakeholders and aligning business, technology and delivery groups.
- Strong commercial judgment across business cases, pricing, estimating, workforce models, delivery locations, risk and governance.
- Practical experience applying AI, generative AI, automation or advanced analytics to business solutions or delivery.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing architecture teams.
- Deep expertise across several areas including enterprise and solution architecture, cloud and platform modernisation, data architecture, integration, APIs, security and identity, AI solution patterns, digital products, managed services and technology strategy.
- Architecture, cloud, data, AI, security, service management or Agile delivery certifications are highly regarded.
