Base Salary
$175k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure end-to-end.
- Solve complex technical problems involving distributed systems, scaling, concurrency, and performance.
- Deploy, serve, and scale large generative AI models in production using internal research and external capabilities.
- Instrument, experiment, and iterate on production systems to improve system and product quality.
- Operate platform infrastructure, including third-party integrations, storage systems, security, and internal APIs.
- Partner with product, design, client, and AI teams to deliver reliable, scalable production systems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional industry experience.
- Demonstrated record of shipping high-impact systems or products in production.
- Strong problem-solving fundamentals and ability to learn quickly.
- Strong engineering judgment, practicality, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and scope and deliver projects end-to-end.
- Experience with LLMs or generative media models is preferred.
- Startup founder or early-stage engineering experience is preferred.
- Collaborative, grounded approach and willingness to contribute broadly.
