Base Salary
$190k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own GovWell’s deployment and reliability platform.
- Build and evolve CI/CD foundations for improved deployment speed and safety.
- Establish and maintain observability systems including metrics and alerting.
- Lead incident response practices and continuous reliability improvements.
- Manage platform-level security and compliance foundations.
- Improve infrastructure efficiency and cost performance.
- Build internal tooling to support product engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a backend, infrastructure, or platform engineer.
- Strong understanding of reliability, distributed systems, and operational failure modes.
- Experience owning CI/CD, observability, incident response, and production operations.
- Proficient in modern AI tools and strong coding skills in Node/TypeScript or similar.
- High-ownership, startup-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
