Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision for security engineering platforms, automation capabilities, and API services.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple security engineering squads and influence architecture, engineering patterns, roadmaps, and platform direction.
- Lead architecture, solution design, software development, APIs, automation services, and cloud-native solutions.
- Champion engineering excellence across design, testing, deployment, operations, observability, reliability, scalability, and technical debt reduction.
- Mentor engineers, uplift engineering capability, and advise senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Evaluate and adopt modern technologies, tooling, engineering practices, and AI-powered development or operational tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading technical strategy across multiple engineering teams, platforms, or domains.
- Strong hands-on software engineering experience at Staff, Principal, or equivalent level.
- Deep expertise in backend engineering, software architecture, systems design, scalable APIs, automation platforms, and distributed systems.
- Strong cloud engineering experience with AWS, Azure, or similar environments.
- Experience with cloud-native services, infrastructure as code, observability, monitoring, enterprise integration patterns, and operational excellence.
- Ability to influence senior technical and business leaders and operate effectively in complex, ambiguous, and evolving environments.
- Experience in cyber security, security engineering, incident response, or related domains is highly regarded but not essential.
- Exposure to AI-powered development or operational tooling and interest in applying AI to engineering and security challenges are valued.
