Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop horizontally scalable, containerized, fault-tolerant services on Kubernetes.
- Improve system performance for low-latency and high-throughput use cases, including low-level stack optimization.
- Build scalable observability architectures for collecting, analyzing, and reporting platform-service metrics.
- Collaborate with product management and backend teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Contribute to technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and product launches.
- Review code and design documents, provide feedback on product specifications, and contribute to documentation.
- Participate in technology selection and process definition for the evolving technology stack.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience developing maintainable, modular, resilient, fail-safe software in a product development company.
- Strong programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and professional C++ development experience.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native technologies, and Linux environments.
- Experience building applications with C++, Go, or Python.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data center design, distributed computing and storage architectures, operating-system internals, virtualization, networking, and application performance monitoring.
- Experience designing and tuning high-performance system software.
- Familiarity with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid software deployment architectures.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and TensorFlow or PyTorch, experience with GPU hardware accelerators, large codebases, open-source contributions, or multi-tenant virtualized services is preferred.
