Responsibilities
- Drive risk-based end-to-end quality strategy for bill inquiry applications and customer billing journeys.
- Design and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks for web regression testing across environments.
- Develop RestAssured API test suites covering service contracts, data integrity, authorization, error handling, and performance.
- Write reusable JavaScript automation utilities and helpers, including asynchronous operations and supporting integrations.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and performance-related testing and document results and evidence.
- Analyze production incidents and quality trends to create regression scenarios and preventive controls.
- Define and monitor defect leakage, automation coverage, execution reliability, and release-readiness metrics.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, and performance specialists to clarify requirements and reduce defects.
- Mentor team members on quality engineering, automation standards, coding guidelines, and test design.
- Plan daily testing priorities, track progress, communicate risks and blockers, and coordinate distributed day-shift activities.
- Maintain test cases, automation suites, quality documentation, and shared repositories.
- Present test results and quality reports to stakeholders and explain defect-prevention measures.
Requirements
- Five to eight years of experience in quality engineering or test automation roles within agile product teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright automation for modern web applications, including development, execution, triage, and optimization.
- Proven RestAssured experience testing APIs, including request and response structures, headers, authorization flows, and error scenarios.
- Solid JavaScript programming skills for modular automation code, reusable utilities, asynchronous operations, and test-tool integration.
- Practical bill inquiry domain experience, including billing adjustments, dispute flows, payment clarifications, and statement breakdowns.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification or an equivalent test automation certification.
- Clear communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a multinational setting.
