Responsibilities
- Lead test planning by defining scope, objectives, coverage, and entry and exit criteria for insurance and financial applications.
- Coordinate functional testing, test data, test suites, execution cycles, traceability, and release reporting using Azure DevOps.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated regression and functional test scripts with Selenium, Cucumber, and UiPath.
- Perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing of policy lifecycle, claims, billing, financial, FTI FCC, and compliance scenarios.
- Track user stories, defects, test progress, dashboards, and status reports using Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and resolve defects.
- Apply risk-based testing and provide root-cause analysis, reproduction steps, and solution recommendations for defects.
- Mentor junior test professionals and drive continuous improvements based on quality metrics, production defects, and stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain test strategies, cases, automation frameworks, execution evidence, and documentation for audits, regulatory reviews, and future maintenance.
- Use ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and conversational AI tools to support test script creation, test data generation, and documentation while applying quality controls.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, user stories, test cases, pipelines, and release workflows in complex enterprise programs.
- Deep practical experience designing modular, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks with Selenium, Cucumber, and UiPath.
- Proficiency with ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and other conversational AI tools for test design, documentation, and code generation with appropriate quality and ethical controls.
- Solid insurance domain knowledge, including policy administration, claims handling, billing, FTI FCC scenarios, and compliance requirements.
- Working familiarity with general ledger processes, reconciliations, premium accounting, and financial reporting is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and defect-analysis skills.
- Willingness to stay current with test automation, cloud technologies, insurance and finance regulations, and AI productivity tools.
