Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications, APIs, web applications, integrations, and backend services.
- Troubleshoot software defects and production issues, perform code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, source-control practices, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code provisioning.
- Administer on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including servers, virtual machines, storage, networks, availability, scalability, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, DNS, SSL certificates, VPN connections, network security policies, and access rules.
- Manage identity and access provisioning, Active Directory, Entra ID, role-based access control, access reviews, and least-privilege practices.
- Perform vulnerability remediation, patching, security configuration, compliance support, and security incident response.
- Monitor applications, infrastructure, and networks; manage alerts, incident response, root-cause analysis, production releases, and change management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud administration.
- Experience managing enterprise production environments.
- Experience with C#, .NET, Java, Node.js, Python, APIs, relational databases, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS; Google Cloud experience is advantageous.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; OpenShift experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, virtualization, networking, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, SSL/TLS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python.
- Relevant Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, networking, or security certifications are preferred, including Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, or Palo Alto certifications.
