Responsibilities
- Develop efficient and scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to design and implement APIs and web services.
- Ensure server-side application performance, security, and reliability while resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
- Integrate relational and NoSQL databases and data storage solutions.
- Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and improve software quality and development practices.
- Participate in architectural discussions and improve system architecture and performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues while minimizing downtime.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability through caching, load balancing, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and the AI Agent team to develop LLM-powered intelligent response systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Ability to build web services on Linux.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Scala, Go, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of network API design, such as REST or GraphQL.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and writing efficient queries, including MongoDB, MySQL, and BigQuery.
- Experience with Git, GitHub workflows, and CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP.
- Experience with LLM ecosystems, including AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, prompt engineering, reusable AI skills, and Model Context Protocol-based services or integrations.
- Preferred: BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: technical leadership experience and experience designing and architecting large-scale distributed systems.
- Preferred: Docker and Kubernetes experience, JavaScript and Node.js/Express.js proficiency, Terraform-based cloud deployment, asynchronous or event-driven programming, and API integration with Line, Messenger, and Instagram.
