Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and develop core Prime Brokerage platform components using Java and Kotlin.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, coding standards, testing practices, and continuous improvement for an agile team.
- Lead architecture, system design, planning, estimation, and translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
- Manage technical and project documentation and proactively identify and mitigate software development lifecycle risks.
- Oversee production support, analyze issue patterns, and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Drive quality and delivery improvements using DevOps practices and metrics such as DORA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Strong Java and test-driven development experience are essential.
- Extensive experience in system analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects and serving as a subject matter expert in at least one applications development area.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, prioritization, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Additional experience with Kotlin, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Kafka, Solace, TIBCO, SQL Server, Trino, Mongo, S3, OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack/ELK, or Grafana is advantageous.
