Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering managers to enhance Faire's platform.
- Share ownership of the product and contribute to customer experience improvements.
- Define the team's technical direction and roadmap.
- Identify and drive technical improvements for platform performance and scalability.
- Contribute to the development of a server-driven UI framework.
- Engage in backend development for server-driven UI functionalities.
- Build ETL pipelines for Data Science needs and new models.
- Optimize frameworks for peak performance and scalability.
- Mentor fellow developers and promote continuous learning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and React.
- Solid knowledge of Kotlin, Python, and backend frameworks like Hibernate and Spring.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects from conception to execution.
- Passion for creating high-quality, scalable, and performant code.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Curiosity for new tools and technologies to solve real problems.
