Responsibilities

  • Design and develop IOC software for vehicle, infotainment, and telematics systems.
  • Develop AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR MCU/IOC software platforms.
  • Build low-level drivers, peripheral device drivers, and complex drivers.
  • Develop IOC/MCU applications involving UART, IPC, SPI, CAN networking, power modes, and diagnostics.
  • Collaborate with AME, SoC software, hardware, and global teams to complete functionality, EOL testing, and EMC testing.
  • Provide essential technical support to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Approximately three years of experience programming in C/C++.
  • Familiarity with at least one mainstream MCU; Renesas RH850, NXP S32K, or Cortex-M chips are preferred.
  • Knowledge of or interest in real-time operating systems.
  • Ability to use engineering metrics and dashboards to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Comfort contributing code, scripts, or tooling in day-to-day engineering work.
  • Open-source participation and automotive industry experience with TS16949/QS9000-compliant work are bonus qualifications.
  • Interest in developer experience, productivity, and engineering effectiveness is preferred.
